Health economics is a broad branch of economics that studies the allocation of resources society uses to improve its "health" and the relative effectiveness and efficiency of different types of health care services. At CASAA our research focuses on the application and refinement of economic tools used to evaluate preventative interventions, and the mechanisms (and barriers) for integrating these interventions into practice.
