Primary Research Interests:
My research has focused on the cross-cultural applicability of addictions concepts among Native Americans. Currently, I am examining how Native Americans have resolved alcohol dependence in hope of highlighting strengths of the culture that may inform current substance abuse treatment.

Current projects and collaborations:
Cross Culturally Appropriate Treatment for Native Americans: Examining how Native Americans have resolves alcohol dependence either naturally or with formal treatment using both qualitative and quantitative measures. (NIAAA)
