Primary Research Interests:
Randall Starling is a Senior Research Scientist I in UNM-CASAA. He received his Doctorate in Public Health Education from the University of New Mexico in 2000. His research focus includes health communications, the role of technology in health communications, primary prevention of Type-II diabetes and colon-rectal cancer, and prevention of alcohol and substance abuse in adolescents.

Current projects and collaborations:
He currently serves as a co-investigator on the Prevention of College Binge Drinking project and the Responsible Beverage Service project. He also collaborates with the Pacific Institute for Research and Evaluation (PIRE) in implementing Project ALERT in Albuquerque and surrounding areas.
