Prevention of hazardous college drinking; Brief interventions including the use of online technology for college drinking.

Current projects and collaborations:
I'm currently coordinating the U.S. Department of Education grant-funded Project TARGET, a multi-faceted alcohol prevention program for UNM students. TARGET combines a web-based brief intervention (the E-Chug) for students with policy and environmental prevention strategies. With Jill Anne Yeagley and Gill Woodall we'll be conducting an evaluation of the E-Chug following data collection during the fall 2004 term, as well as an evaluation of the TARGET model for hazardous college drinking prevention. I'm also working with colleagues at the Behavioral Research Center of the Southwest (BHRCS) on a study of health risks assumed by DWI offenders in New Mexico.
